World renowned for its theme of exploration, it is only natural that the Ernst Benz Great Circle Collection would include a diving watch. The ChronoDiver model was conceived when Designer and Managing Director, Leonid Khankin, met with Mr. Benz at the BASELWORLD fair in Switzerland in the spring of 2007. Mr. Benz gifted him one of his own original diving watch prototypes from the 1980’s. Using this and the original ChronoFlite gauge as an inspiration, Khankin developed the ChronoDiver.

The ChronoDiver is produced exclusively in Ernst Benz’s signature 47mm size. Its design remains true to its function as an instrument for divers; its main purpose is to provide precision and legibility underwater. Designed and manufactured in Switzerland, the ChronoDiver is offered in four variations: classic black and white dials with green luminous numerals, and new for 2010, a blue dial with white luminous numerals, and a black dial with orange luminous numerals. Each model has the company's signature concentric circle dial motif along with original hands reminiscent of Benz’s dashboard instrumentation and highly legible Super-LumiNova luminescent numerals that are framed out in steel. The watch features a uni-directional rotating bezel marked for 60 minutes to measure the length of a dive and a graduated scale for the first 15 minutes to make it easier for the diver to measure his descent.

The case, in stainless steel, measures 47mm. The crystal is an AR-coated sapphire (as is the display back) and it is water resistant to 200 meters.

Movement is the Swiss automatic ETA caliber Valjoux 7750 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. It features a Glucydur balance and a Nivarox hairspring.

Straps are available in nylon, rubber, water repellent leather and alligator.

Quello nero mi ricorda tanto quell' "Inutilone" dell' Hamilton Below zero crono .....   1000 e passa euri buttati ..( per l'hamilton ) ...
 
comunque è vero .... meno peggio di tanta altra roba qui presentata ....

Secondo me gli Hamilton sono molto carini e ben fatti...non lo dico perchè ce l'ho (in quanto mi è stato regalato)....ma perchè obiettivamente sono ben fatti e molto carini! imho

Non male...pero' 47 mm sono veramente troopi. Ma perchè cosi' grandi?? Non ci si potrebbe fermare a 42-43???
