Featuring tonneau-shaped design, the movement is built on 43 jewels and comprises 384 parts. The three-barrel layout of the movement allows for a healthy power reserve of 10 days (240 hours) with a special power reserve indicator visible through the watch’s transparent case back cover. The dial is partially skeletonized with no self-luminated hands or markers and covered by a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The markers are an aluminum grid that are attached to the bezel.
Produced in a numbered series of just 100 pieces, the Hublot MasterPiece MP-01 will be soon available for around $80,000. Hublot anticipates that due to the complicated open-worked design of these watches, only one or two models in this line will be released every year.
