Serial no. 001 of the Centigraphe Sport will be auctioned on 30 May by Christie's in Hong Kong as lot 2192A with all proceeds going to Japan tsunami and earthquake relief. The donation ceremony, as well as the official launch of the Centigraphe Sport, will be held on 1 June at the Swiss Embassy in Tokyo.Manufactured in May 2011, the hand-wound calibre 1506 is entirely crafted from aluminum alloy and indicates elapsed times from a 100th of a second to 10 minutes.The 42mm case of this ergonomic chronograph is made from aluminium adorned with rubber inserts.Its semi-skeletonised aluminum alloy dial displays hours and minutes and the chronograph indications (100th of a second, 20 second and 10 minute registers).
