The new Porsche Design P 6520 Compass Watch indicates time and direction mechanically. Its inspiration was the first Compass Watch, created in 1978 by designer Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche in aluminium coated black.
The P 6520 Compass Watch comes in two parts: the upper part is a three-hand watch. The lower part of the watch opens to reveal a liquid compass that can be easily removed. The watch is available with a compass for both the Northern as well as the Southern hemisphere. In order to find one’s bearings with this instrument, a scratch-resistant mirror has been installed on the rear of the watch part and on top of the compass. When opened, the two mirrors click into place at 45 degrees.
The case, in titanium black PVD, measures 42mm x 14.6mm. The crystal is AR-coated sapphire and it is water resistant to 50 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Sellita caliber SW300 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours.

E un mix di stili tra il Thorr di 25 anni fa e l'orologio bussola.
Il problema dei PD è che si rompono e solo la casa madre li aggiusta.
