Luminox XCOR Valjoux for Astronauts

Luminox announces the release of the XCOR Valjoux model, the first automatic chronograph in the Space Series. Made for space and created with input from astronauts and test pilots.

Astronauts and pilots need to synchronize their operations down to the second and analog time is quick and easy to interpret especially in the dark says Harry van Hulten, XCOR Space Expeditions Founding Partner and test-pilot. Pilots are picky about two things - sunglasses and watches. Luminox is my watch of choice. I've see the watch, and I've met the people behind the watch, and I'm impressed.

As a key partner of XCOR Space Expeditions, Luminox is committed to making passenger space flights possible. A recently signed multi-year contract between Luminox and XCOR seals the promising partnership. The Luminox Space watches will be worn by both the XCOR astronauts and passengers.

XCOR Aerospace, the manufacturer of the XCOR Lynx spaceship, will be carrying out their first test flights within the atmosphere soon. Training sessions and tests for passenger flights are currently under way. For $100,000 passengers will be able to enjoy a unique view of the earth from 103 kilometers.

In questo caso se è un modello realizzato appositamente per lo spazio e gli astronauti non ho molto da dire, senz'altro la gradevolezza e gli equilibri non sono la priorità, si sarà badato alla robustezza oramai leggendaria del 7750(anche se non comprendo cosa ci si possa fare di una massa oscillante nello spazio) e una serie di info leggibili in una robusta cassa, il tutto probabilmente anche per lanciare il marchio(e non solo nello spazio..)

Ma non c'era già quello della luna come crono per gli astronauti!? 
Non sanno più che inventarsi per continuare a vendere la stessa minestra riscaldata da mezzo secolo...

Sarà pure carino per l'estate, ma guarda dove stanno i 3 compax e guardatene poi lo spazio che c'è fino alla fine della cassa, secondo me è almeno un 45mm…
Io l'estate mi voglio rilassare, mica fare body building.
