Precision: A specially tuned version of Spring Drive caliber 9R96

This Limited Edition houses the unique Spring Drive movement, specially tuned for enhanced accuracy. The crystal oscillators are selected individually with time and care, realizing an accuracy of +/- 0.5 seconds a day (+/- 10 seconds per month). A lion emblem in 18K yellow gold graces the oscillating weight to symbolize the enhanced accuracy.

Durability: A ceramic bezel, seven times harder than steel

This is the first ever Grand Seiko watch to use a ceramic bezel. The deep black ceramic on the bezel gives the watch a crisp and refined appearance. Ceramic is seven times harder* and 25% lighter than stainless steel, and scratch resistant. Its surface is specially polished to the highest possible level to create a long-lasting and super-flat mirror finish. *on the Vickers scale

3 mm e sopratutto 5000 euro di prezzo in meno e sarebbe stato il mio primo spring drive.

Si, decisamente e inutilmente sproporzionati.

Devo dire che a me non sono solo i tasti grandi che non piacciono, ma tutto l'orologio, trovandolo poco armonico e "pesante".
Il costo mi sembra davvero esagerato, come anche le dimensioni complessive del resto.
Per me è no.

I tasti sono esagerati, il prezzo è sostanzioso, ma io sono ingolosito dalle prestazioni dichiarate, a dimostrazione che la cronometria la si cerca ancora..penso mi farei tentare...

Non so, mezzo secondo al giorno non mi sembra un risultato entusiasmante per un sistema comunque regolato da un oscillatore al quarzo.

Per saggiare le qualità cronometriche dello spring drive non serve spendere 10k, si trovano modelli solo tempo con la riserva(ed anche esteticamente per me più gradevoli) a 3-4k.
Per quello che riguarda la precisione dell'orologio bisogna tenere presente che non ha il funzionamento di un quarzo puro, ma di un ibrido, si ha molto più a che fare comunque con componenti meccaniche.
Bisogna poi vedere se la precisione dichiarata già buona, può essere anche superiore all'atto pratico, come capitato a me con un meccanico entry level da poche decine di euro.
Questi sono gradevoli per me, e da appassionato della micromeccanica il fascino di quel movimento ha un qualcosa di misterioso e magnetico.

peccato per il bracciale copiato ad omega...per il resto trovo i pulsanti e la corona poco consoni per un pezzo da 10.000 eurozzi
