Manufacture Royale presents 1770 Voltige, a new timepiece whose heart beats above the dial. This feat of technique shows how energy is transformed into increments of time.
1770 Voltige unreservedly reveals its heart in its escapement, positioned above the dial like a trapezist twirling beneath a glass big top. Designed and made in Manufacture Royale's workshops in the Swiss Jura, it captures a savoir-faire as well as a new vision of time measurement. By taking the escapement out of the movement and giving it pride of place above the dial, Manufacture Royale highlights its vital importance.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in stainless steel, measures 45mm x 13.8mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 30 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Manufacture Royal in-house caliber MR05 with 28 jewels, 21,600 vph and a power reserve of 40 hours. The plate and bridges are entirely hand-decorated, with Côtes de Genève on the mainplate. The balance wheel measures 14mm.
The dial is anthracite grey, with satin sunray finish, hand-polished hour markers, small seconds at 6 o'clock, "sieve" structure.
It comes on a hand-stitched black alligator leather strap with a steel buckle.
