The brushed titanium case measures 48mm x 17mm. It has a sapphire crystal and sapphire display back and is water resistant to 1,000 meters. The dial is anthracite, and the watch is fitted with a decompression valve.

Movement is the automatic Blancpain caliber 1315 with 35 jewels and a power reserve of 120 hours. It is composed of 222 parts.

First Step on the Moon

The case is made of 18kt rose gold and measures 46.5mm. Movement is the automatic Piaget in-house caliber 860P with 25 jewels, beating at 21,600 bph and with a power reserve of 72 hours.

“We wanted to make a unique piece, which had as its movement our new caliber 860P –so reinforcing the legitimacy of the brand,” says Mr Touzeau of Piaget. “The result was a very nice complication with extra large moon phases positioned at 6 o’clock in a 12mm diameter aperture. The moon is made out of a gold plate. To give it this rough appearance it was heated until boiling stage and then cooled down. This enables it to have an irregular aspect that resembles the craters of the moon. Furthermore, on the moon phase disk we have engraved our interpretation of the tread left by Neil Armstrong after the first step on the moon.

The case, in Tantalum and Palladium, measures 41mm x 13mm. The crystal is an AR-coated sapphire and it is water resistant to 30 meters.

Movement is the automatic Vacheron in-house caliber 2460H with 27 jewels, beating at 28,800 bph and with a power reserve of 43 hours. It has circular finishing and bears the Geneva Hallmark.

Anche il marchio Confrérie Horlogère prenderà parte all'asta benefica Only Watch 09, evento che si svolgerà il 24 settembre prossimo a Monaco allo scopo di raccogliere fondi per aiutare i bambini affetti dalla distrofia muscolare di Duchenne. Per l'occasione, la Casa orologiera ha realizzato il prototipo Tourbillon “La Clef du Temps”, a carica manuale calibro CH 1057 - CDT, cui seguirà una serie limitata di 24 esemplari. Il meccanismo che anima il segnatempo consente di “regolare” la velocità del proprio tempo. Attraverso una leva a tre posizioni situata a ore 10 è possibile modificare la velocità con cui ore e minuti a ore 2 scorrono: la posizione 1 fa sì che la velocità del tempo venga dimezzata; la posizione 2 fa sì che la velocità del tempo sia standard; la posizione 3 fa sì che la velocità venga raddoppiata. Il quadrante riporta le indicazioni di ore, minuti, piccoli secondi retrogradi a ore 4 e riserva di carica (pari a 80 ore) a ore 8.
