Nuovo calibro in-house
To Debut at Baselworld 2013
Bovet, founded in 1822 in Neuchatel by Edouard Bovet, was acquired in 2000 by Pascal Raffy.
Mr. Raffy has continued the expansion of Bovet by acquiring, in 2006, STT Holdings (ex-Progress Watch), since renamed Dimier 1738, and which has three manufacturing sub-companies: STT (caliber movements), SPIR-IT (balance springs) and Aigat (stamping). This guaranteed Bovet’s independence in terms of movement manufacture.
Today, the firm roduces about 2,000 watches a year, and it wants to increase production to about 4,000 pieces in the next few years.
