Raymond Weil Freelancer Chrono for Piper Aircraft
In tribute to its founder's deep passion for aviation, Raymond Weil has partnered with legendary aviation manufacturer Piper Aircraft to present its first-ever pilot watch: the Freelancer Piper.
Mr. Raymond Weil, an enthusiastic pilot, was particularly fond of mountain flights, especially around the Matterhorn, which he did on a Piper plane during his travels in Switzerland.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in titanium and stainless steel, measures 45mm x 13.7mm. It has a double AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 100 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Raymond Weil caliber RW5020 (base ETA 7754) with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 46 hours. It features a GMT complication.
The dial, made to resemble aircraft instruments, is black with Arabic numerals and luminescent hands and indices. The hour and minute hand have propeller-tip markings.
It comes on a black perforated leather strap with a titanium and steel folding clasp.
Each Freelancer Piper chronograph comes in a special box with a model Piper aircraft.
