03 December 2009 – This day marks a new page in Longines’ history as the brand introduces the largest flagship boutique worldwide. The flagship opens its doors at Pacific Place, Hanoi, with a duplex occupying 153 square metres.
A soaring crystal-clear façade bearing the dignified Longines winged hourglass logo provides an unobstructed view into the boutique. The Longines flagship showcases a contemporary interpretation of the brand’s traditional values. It illustrates Longines’ innate ability to match elegance and style revealed by the aesthetic purity of the design.

Be captivated by the centrepiece in the boutique upon entering – an octagon formed by eight watch towers that display the highlights of Longines’ collections. The clever play of light shot from the floor and reflected by the ceiling mirror, illuminates the jewel pieces in the showcases.
The clean and luminescent white walls create instant freshness, while the curved wall projects seamless integration that is elegant and soothing. The showcases streamlined along the curved wall breathe vitality into the boutique, capturing the spirit of innovation and excellence. Materials and colours have been artfully played to differentiate the collections.

· The Longines Sport Collection area is housed in brushed aluminium showcases contrasted against black homogenous flooring, demonstrating the resilience and durability of the collection.

· The Watchmaking Tradition and Elegance lines on the other hand, are housed in crystal-clear glass displays against the lacquered wood, signifying the elegance and timeless appeal of the collection.

The clever contrasting elements are married perfectly, exuding a distinguished, harmonious and friendly air in the boutique.

A pleasant feature of the boutique is its heritage centre and VIP Lounge on the mezzanine level. Here, you will learn more about the history of Longines, which dates back to more than 177 years. Customers can enjoy complimentary drinks and rest on the couch, while reading a selection of books from the Longines library or watching video clips of Longines campaigns.

Ahhhhh il buon vecchio marketing....comunque io la penso come angelo riguardo la produzione......a pensar male.....

Produrre anche solo una parte dei componenti in Vietnam o in altri paesi limitrofi sarebbe un boomerang per Longines....
Io oggi lo comprerei un Longines, nel caso di cui sopra assolutamente no, anche solo per principio !

Gli orologi (di prestigio) non devono diventare come i capi d'abbigliamento o i giocattoli !

solo un idea ma potrebbe essere...

sarebbe interessante andare a fondo....perchè non si tratta di un negozietto, ma la più grande boutique longines del mondo.

Non ci vedo nulla di strano. Hanoi è vicino alla Cina, è una città di 3,5 milioni di abitanti che cresce all'8% annuo e magari è una città non povera come il resto del Vietnam, in cui il marchio Longines viene considerato come marchio di valore e prestigio. La spiegazione potrebbe essere questa.
Poi "boutique più grande del mondo" ok...ma sono 300 metri quadri se ho ben capito, non 30.000 come l'Ikea []
